Property Tax & Home Owner Grant Reminder

Just a friendly reminder that property tax payments are due by July 2.

If you haven't already arranged payment, you can pay online, by mail, or in person. Instructions for payment can be found on your property tax notice.

You may also be eligible for the Home Owner Grant or Senior Grant, which can reduce your property taxes by at least $570. If you qualify, be sure to apply before the deadline to take advantage of these savings.

If you're currently buying or selling a home and your completion date falls before July 2, it's a good idea to speak with your lawyer or conveyancer in advance. Confirming who will be responsible for paying the property taxes and claiming any available grants can help prevent any surprises during the closing process.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
