My primary source of new business are referrals from people who know and trust me. Working by referral allows me to focus on the activities that benefit my clients the most instead of constantly trying to find new business.
First a foremost, I realise when you refer a client, it's your "neck on the line". If I don't live up to expectations, your client will be unhappy and they will look to you for answers.
